1. Provider identity

Owen Book Studio is a trade name operated by Bryan Andres Castillo, an individual, with an address for notices and claims at:

In these Terms, “Owen,” “Owen Book Studio,” “we,” “our,” or the “Service” refers to the provider identified above.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, making a purchase, starting a generation, or using the Service, you represent that:

1. you have read and accept these Terms;
2. you have read the Privacy Notice;
3. you accept the Refund and Cancellation Policy; and
4. you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have sufficient authority to bind it under these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Service or make any purchases.

3. Description of the Service

Owen Book Studio provides artificial intelligence-assisted tools to create, plan, structure, generate, review, edit, and export narrative projects, including ideas, project bibles, characters, settings, conflicts, timelines, outlines, chapters, manuscripts, validations, corrections, and exportable files.

The specific scope of each purchase, including approximate length, features, limits, number of generations, formats, and price, will be displayed before payment is confirmed.

Generation times are estimates and may vary depending on length, complexity, demand, technical availability, or the operation of third-party providers.

4. Account and security

You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, keeping your account secure, reviewing activity performed through it, and notifying us if you detect unauthorized access.

You must not sell, lend, share, or transfer your account without authorization.

We may temporarily limit access when there are reasonable indications of fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, technical risk, or a violation of these Terms.

5. Purchases, prices, and payments

Before confirming a purchase, the Service will clearly display the product being purchased, total price, currency, applicable taxes or fees, included deliverables, relevant limits, and whether the payment is one-time or recurring.

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another provider identified in the Privacy Notice. Owen Book Studio does not directly store the complete card number or security code.

You are responsible for using a valid and authorized payment method.

Future prices may change, but changes will not retroactively affect a purchase that has already been paid.

Unless the checkout process expressly states otherwise, Owen Book Studio purchases are one-time payments and do not create automatic recurring charges.

6. Credits and resource consumption

Some features may use credits or another internal unit of consumption.

Before an operation that consumes credits begins, the Service will display the applicable cost or a clear estimate.

When a purchase includes a complete generation, internal validations, technical retries, corrections needed to complete the same request, and recovery of a failed generation must not be treated as a new purchase or consume additional credits unless otherwise expressly disclosed and accepted before starting.

A new generation requested by the user, a material change to the instructions, an additional rewrite, an increase in length, or a change outside the originally purchased scope may require credits or an additional payment. The cost must be shown before the operation begins.

Credits are not deposited money, do not earn interest, cannot be resold or transferred between accounts without authorization, and are subject to the conditions shown when purchased.

No expiration will be applied retroactively to credits already purchased. Any validity period must be clearly disclosed before purchase.

7. User-provided content

You retain any rights you hold in the ideas, instructions, text, names, characters, files, notes, and other materials you provide.

You grant Owen Book Studio a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license, only for the time necessary to host, store, back up, process, generate, review, display, edit, and enable the download of your content.

This license does not authorize Owen Book Studio to publish, sell, or market your manuscript as its own.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful bases necessary to provide and process the content you submit. You must not upload works, manuscripts, confidential information, or third-party personal data without authorization.

8. Generated material and commercial use

Owen Book Studio does not claim ownership of material generated specifically for your project.

As between you and Owen Book Studio, you may use the results you receive commercially to the extent permitted by applicable law and by the terms of the technology providers used.

You acknowledge that artificial intelligence systems may make errors or produce repetition, contradictions, loss of context, or fabricated information. A result may resemble content generated for other people.

We do not guarantee that a result will be completely unique, eligible for copyright registration, free from possible third-party claims, accepted by Amazon KDP, publishers, stores, or distributors, or that it will generate sales, reviews, ranking, revenue, or commercial success.

You must read, edit, verify, and approve the manuscript before publishing, distributing, selling, or presenting it as finished.

You are also responsible for complying with the rules of the platforms where you publish, including any obligation to disclose the use of artificial intelligence-generated or assisted content.

9. Accuracy and human review

Results are creative and editorial support tools. They do not replace human review or professional advice.

The Service does not provide legal, tax, medical, financial, psychological, or academic advice.

You must verify any real-world fact, quotation, historical reference, technical statement, name, trademark, person, or event before using it publicly.

10. Permitted and prohibited use

Use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.

You may not use it to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights; create illegal content; generate sexual material involving minors; create non-consensual intimate material; harass, threaten, defame, or disclose personal data; fraudulently impersonate a person; introduce malware; evade limits; manipulate credits; commit payment fraud; access systems without authorization; or perform attacks, abusive scraping, or unauthorized reverse engineering.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts when there is a serious violation or a reasonable risk.

11. Refunds and corrections

Refunds, credit restorations, retries, and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

In general:

• a purchase may be canceled and refunded if processing has not yet begun;
• a generation that has started is not refundable solely because of a change of mind;
• if the Service materially fails to deliver what was purchased due to a failure attributable to Owen, we will repeat the generation, restore credits, or refund the affected amount; and
• duplicate charges or charges made after a valid cancellation will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates non-waivable consumer rights.

12. Future subscriptions

Owen Book Studio will not make recurring charges unless the checkout process clearly identifies a subscription and obtains express, informed consent.

If subscriptions are offered, the price, billing frequency, billing date or rule, and cancellation conditions will be displayed; automatic renewal will require express acceptance; a renewal notice will be sent within the legally applicable period; and an immediate, penalty-free cancellation mechanism will be available.

Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel a subscription. Renewal must be canceled through the specific mechanism provided.

13. Storage and copies

You must not use Owen Book Studio as the only backup of an important project. You are responsible for downloading and keeping independent copies.

Downloadable files or exports may be deleted after 15 days when this is indicated within the product. Project text and account information may be retained while the account remains active or until you request deletion.

We may retain minimum payment, security, fraud-prevention, claims, and tax records for the periods required by law.

14. Availability

The Service is provided subject to availability. There may be maintenance, interruptions, delays, errors, provider failures, temporary loss of access, technical limits, or events outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee continuous availability or compatibility with all devices or formats.

When a failure attributable to Owen Book Studio prevents delivery of a paid purchase, the Refund and Cancellation Policy will apply.

15. Changes to the Service

We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features for technical, legal, security, or commercial reasons.

We will not retroactively reduce an individually purchased benefit without providing a reasonable alternative, restoring credits, or refunding the affected amount when applicable.

16. Owen intellectual property

The Owen Book Studio brand, logos, software, interface, code, workflows, documentation, internal templates, and technology belong to Bryan Andres Castillo or his licensors.

Access to the Service does not transfer any rights in the software to you or authorize you to copy, resell, sublicense, or exploit it outside the normal use of your account.

17. Intellectual property claims

Claims regarding possible infringement must be sent to [email protected] and include the name of the owner or representative, a description of the work or right, the location of the reported content, an explanation of the claim, contact details, and reasonable supporting documentation.

We may temporarily block or remove content while a claim is reviewed.

18. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account.

We may suspend or terminate an account for fraud, nonpayment, serious breach, illegal use, infringement of third-party rights, security risk, or use that seriously affects operation of the Service.

When reasonable, we will attempt to explain the reason and allow clarification.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Owen Book Studio will not be liable for publication decisions made without reviewing the material, rejection by a platform, lost sales or expected revenue, uncorrected editorial errors, third-party content provided without authorization, or indirect damages that may lawfully be excluded.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, total liability relating to a purchase will be limited to the amount paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be excluded by law, including fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, data protection violations, or non-waivable consumer rights.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.

Before initiating a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve it by contacting [email protected].

Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer's right to seek assistance from Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency or another competent authority.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms due to legal, technical, or Service changes.

The current version will display its update date. Material changes will be communicated by email, an in-account notice, or a prominent message when necessary.

Changes will not apply retroactively to completed purchases unless required by law.
