A new novel often begins with a recommendation: a tutorial, a community or someone who helps an author move forward. Owen Partners recognizes that work when a recommendation brings a new customer to Owen Book Studio.
Applications are open to creators, educators and communities who want to introduce Owen to their audiences. No purchase is required to apply. We review each proposal and approve participation individually.
35% on the first eligible purchase
Partners earn 35% on each new customer's first positive, valid purchase of Professional, Duo or Trilogy. The calculation uses the amount actually paid after discounts, excluding taxes. Stripe fees and Owen's internal costs are not deducted from that base.
For example, an eligible base of US$60 produces a US$21 commission at 35%. This illustrates the calculation; it is not an advertised package price or an earnings promise.
- Only the new customer's first valid purchase earns commission.
- Free purchases, redemptions, top-ups and subscriptions are excluded.
- Refunds and disputes can reduce, hold or reverse a commission.
Five founding partner places
Five partners selected and approved as founders receive 50% on their first three eligible sales within 90 days of approval. The standard 35% rate applies afterward. Founder status is assigned at approval; submitting an application does not reserve a place.
Your dashboard shows your current rate, remaining promotional sales and expiry date. A refund does not restore a promotional sale.
Your own link and a useful dashboard
Every approved partner receives a personal referral link. With the visitor's consent, Owen remembers the last valid referral for 30 days. A code can also be entered voluntarily during registration. Attribution is fixed when a new account is created, and its first purchase must happen within the following 60 days.
Your dashboard shows the package, calculation base, rate, commission and status. Sale notifications are automatic and optional. Buyer privacy is protected: you cannot see customer emails, manuscripts or book titles.
How payouts work
Standard commissions are reviewed for 30 days. Balances available at month-end are paid by commercial PayPal payment, with a US$20 accumulated minimum, by the following month's 10th day. Smaller balances roll forward. Your PayPal recipient must be confirmed and the agreed tax documentation must be complete and reviewed before payment.
Commissions are gross amounts in USD. Owen covers its sending fees; PayPal may charge the recipient for receiving, conversion or withdrawal. A net received amount is not guaranteed. Your dashboard retains payout references, settlements and adjustments.
Clear recommendations and honest expectations
Recommend Owen based on what it does and your experience with the product. There is no payment for recruiting other partners and no guaranteed income. Every commercial recommendation must visibly disclose that you may receive a commission.
To begin, open the Owen Partners page, read the terms and apply from an Owen account with a verified email. Tell us where your audience is and how you would introduce the studio. Approved applicants receive access to their referral link and brand resources.

No. You need an Owen account, a verified email, acceptance of the program terms and approval of your application.
Do all of a customer's purchases earn commission?
No. This version pays only on each attributed new customer's first eligible purchase.
